Rolls Royce Cullinan

The Rolls-Royce Cullinan is presented on May 10, 2018 in Goodwood, in the stronghold of the brand, then exposed for the first time to the public, from June 22 to 24, 2018, at the Concours d'Elegance Suisse in the gardens of the Château de Coppet1 . Images of Cullinan prototypes, some from the English manufacturer, had previously leaked on the canvas showing it in test on the Nürburgring, in the snow, mud or dunes. The Cullinan2 is the first SUV3 of the brand at the Spirit of Ecstasy. Its name refers to Cullinan, the largest diamond ever discovered in 1905 in South Africa. Rolls-Royce thus enters the circle of luxury manufacturers who have added an SUV in their range, like Lamborghini with Urus, Maserati with Levante and Bentley with its closest competitor Bentayga, and this before Lotus in 2020 and Lagonda in 2021. The Cullinan is nevertheless the largest luxury SUV with its 5,34 m long. The Cullinan is built in England with the other models of the brand, at the Goodwood plant in West Sussex. Its tariff starts at 275 000 euros excluding taxes in Europe. This new generation of Rolls-Royce revolutionizes the very conformist manufacturer, so the Cullinan is the first SUV of the brand, the first 4x4, the first vehicle with a hatchback, and the first to receive a folding seat, a digital instrumentation or a screen touch. Rolls-Royce adapts to its time without changing its DNA and its values.
